The students will also sing at the Festival at Sandpoint Family concert in August.

The Jim Lippi Family Scholarship 2017 Winners

The Jim Lippi Family Scholarship is awarded each year to graduating seniors in Bonner County from funds generated by the joint Angels Over Sandpoint and Ivano’s September “Italian Open Golf Scramble”. These students were selected through application and interviews where it was determined they exhibited exceptional determination, courage and a desire to continue their education in the face of personal obstacles that would have likely derailed others. Now these students are heading off to Idaho colleges to pursue their dreams and we are proud to be able to support them in some small way.

Community Service Award

The Community Service Scholarship was created to acknowledge Bonner County graduating seniors who have contributed to our community through service to individuals or groups, by establishing new and innovative programs to better the community, or other acts of kindness on their own initiative.

This year we awarded $1,000 scholarships to two deserving students:
Anna Lee Hepinstall for her outreach to the homeless and Justin Marks for his work to develop a program to assist the youth LGBT community.

Both these students have exhibited the compassion and desire to carry on with their work into their college life and beyond.
